Thanks to the few of you who answered the poll...I plan on keeping it running so as to get a feel for what you want to read.
Ill say this to those of you who like to read my articles: the next Courier will not disappoint (hint hint LOGAN)

There is at least a one in three chance that you could walk up to anybody in the hallway and ask them for the boy's varsity basketball record and get the answer faster than Brent Schrieber can run a 40...if you can't wait the 4.7ish seconds for the response its here...8-1 (1/2 game up on Kaukauna for the conf!!) It's been a great start so far with the exception of one rough night, we have been very successful.
One thing that has flown completely (and unfairly) under the radar is the 6-2 record the girl's team has put up. I have not had much opportunity to see them in action this year as I am on the boys' varsity team (bench) but did catch a glipse at the basketball frenzy vs. AWest and hope to see a little more against ANorth. All I can say I have to say is that they are hot right and hopefully will continue to string wins together in the second half.
The second half starts on Friday with both sets of basketball teams playing in the ANorth gym...BE THERE

I would stay away from pro sports... except for the Packers. A blog entry about the Bucks or Brewers occasionally is okay, but keep this centered on East. That way you're keeping the blog unique.
Take a look at Bill Simmons' column on espn.com/page2. He comes up with fun ways of looking at games and teams.

Herminator, I like the blog format that you have established. Here are some suggestions that might help get more people involved. How about posting/writing about some interesting things happening around East that involve student/athletes and their involvement with outside activities. How about something on East school pride? Does anyone even know the school song? What's going on in the weightroom? Just a few thoughts ideas about some things to write about.

Herminator, Just letting you know that I have started a new blog. It is going to be a blog about east athletic training where readers can go to find out infomation and comment about training tips provided by coaches at East. On the blog will be drills that can be used for weightroom, plyos, ladders, speed, agility, with links to sites for more information and videos to show a specific drill in action. The site is www.easttrainingspot.blogspot.com. Please use your forum to promote the new site. Hopefully this will establish some rapport about questions, ideas, etc that might come up from athletes interested in getter better.
